Christi Studio's Best Advice, In a Nutshell

Companies in saturated local markets can benefit from the following tips to rise in Google Business Listings, despite stiff competition:

  • Use Page Speed Insights to make sure you have a well-designed website that won't be penalized by Google (poor user experiences and bad online reviews can cause a low business listing position).
  • Google Business is no longer supporting mini-websites on their platform so don't pay for one, they're obsolete, now.
  • Social media pages connected a website need to stay active. Just having a social media page connected to a website will do nothing for you if it's unused or full of redundant AI-generated posts.
  • Avoid thoughtless generic AI-generated blog posts, which are now viewed as poor-quality by Google. You can use this tool to test the originality of your blog posts– especially if you're paying a premium with the hope of a higher search engine position.
  • Request proof of secure headers from a website provider. This proof comes in the form of a page with a grade on it, from A to F. You're looking for an A because insecure headers expose customers and your business to expensive consequences.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Research

Love it or hate it, AI is here to stay. Christi Studio thus has an interest in applied AI research. The research appears on this website in several forms to benefit individuals from all walks of life on the Oregon Coast.

Here's a link to the studio's research diary.

General AI Research Observations

“It’s not about the prompts, it’s about the questions.” — Christina Hadley

The studio is proud to announce an early research discovery: the likelihood of human beings rendered obsolete by AI remains low. However, research also suggests it takes one sharp cookie to keep up with AI, and to use it well.

AI is one of those things that requires “all hands on deck” to check and double check. AI also demands it be used in a way that doesn't cause harm; thus, the studio objects to stealing artists styles, for example, and encourages the use of negative attribute prompts to remove an artist's style from an output.

While the courts work out the kinks involving intellectual theft, one cannot deny that AI has reached a point of being impressive. The good news is from its inception, to present date, AI continues to need people more than people need AI.

Just one bad review, whether justified or not, can cause thousands of dollars of damage. • Christina has twice helped us remove horrible malicious reviews. Both went against [redacted] content policy but we didn't know the specifics of how to present it to [redacted] and how to formulate a solid case. In both cases, Christina worked with us to formulate the evidence that supported our position. It is always so gut-wrenching for business owners to be faced with this situation and Christina was professional, empathetic and totally effective. We will definitely call upon her if we ever are faced with another similar attack. . .
